Submitted by tangles on Thu, 2013-04-04 12:56
took the tinny up north this mornin. flat as was able to get right inside in the gutters to try for a pink on fly. took a while, lost a few flys but eventually managed to rip this stonka out! gave me grief for a bit and had to try n contain my excitment but finally got him in! 15ft of water, on a Penn Gold 12w n light saltwater reel. the flys were made at home when theres nithn to do so even better catch on a homemade one! very addictive fishing!!

Kalbarri Paradise
Well done tangles, keep on showing what Kalbarri has to offer if you are willing to get off your but and go fishing, again well done. Kalbarri is only 6 hours from Perth well worth the trip, accomodation is cheap when the school holidays or Easter is over, worth the trip up for the fish, crayfish, blueys and muddys.
Those of us that live here tend to take it for granted, but tangles keeps showing us all what is here, again well done, eep up the good work, tangles.
Don't forget to book a snadboarding adventure with Kalbarri Sandboarding, it will scare the pants off you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers

Well done tangles! What's the pelagic scene like at the moment? Easter used to be pretty good from memory.

Great stuff
The loads of flyrodders heading up that way over the next couple of weeks a group with Peter Morse is currently slamming snapper sight casting in Shark Bay. Once the fly bites there no turning back
