There was definitely some pelagic action out on the 40m line south of rotto last Friday arvo, was a pretty consistent bird-nado about a mile north of us while we were on a patch of KGW

Went out saturday morning, dropped lures in at north point
reef, trolled west in 15-25m line up to west end, did a couple hours trolling around west end, nothing. No birds feeding, no bust ups, weed was a pain in the arse at times and whales with calves everywhere so be careful guys. First whales we came across were only about 10km out from Hillarys then lots more out around rotto cheers Dave

Hillarys Yacht Club had a junior tuna bash over the weekend. Not a single SBT was caught but plenty of stripies and a few bonito too. Some people who know what they are doing too so I guess they're not around yet.
