Ive always found going north from Tantabiddi past the Jurabi sanctuary zone was better. Catch anything from squid, spangos and coral trout. If you can venture a little further out just past the reef in about 30m if you troll and look for ground there is alot of bombies that hold real good trout and the occasional red.
if you know where the fence line is, go straight west till you get to the reef .that flats area has pemit and goldens hanging around on a in coming tide.
big johns jigs AKA fligs will get some permit action. and or goldens will take the same jigs.
