we have been out a few times over last few weeks. Bit of a mised bag in terms of depths, got 8 in 1 dive in 40m 2 weeks ago then out again to a similar depth last Friday and they were all setose so no keepers at all. Managed to get a few in the 30's Friday but they have thinned out a bit. Going to try some shallower spots this week if the weather permits.
Agree with the others patchy at the moment , I pot and have found the numbers to be slowing down over the last month or two . I've been moving my pots around a bit trying to find them but doesn't seem to be helping . Also doesn't help finishing work late sometimes or find finding a weather window to go and pull them .

We were diving in 5-10m out
We were diving in 5-10m out from port Kennedy yesterday and there were plenty of keepers around. Last weekend we only managed 1 from the same area.

1 jumbo, and dozens of undersized sighted yesterday. In close, 10M of water.
I reckon next year is going to be a cracker.
