Sandy cape

Hey guys.
wondering if anyone has ever driven their boat from Jurien bay boat harbour to sandy cape, then moored for a few days. Is this even an option? If so, roughly how long is the journey, and is it fairly safe or a bit hairy (assuming reasonable weather). Caribbean 2300, thinking of having the fam drop
me at the boat ramp, then they drive their car up to the campground, I drive the boat and park it in the bay?
any advice greatly appreciated!!
cheers
goat.

It is certainly do able, and I have seen boats do it, but it can be very exposed in a swell or breeze anything north of west.
Probably would want a small tender or kayak to get to and from as opposed to beaching the boat.
