Still not getting my weather reading right. On Saturday it's saying 12 knots ENE and 1.2m swell I have a 4.3m tinnie with 40hp tiller steer. What will the water be like on 5fathom bank off warnbro? Thanks for your help

ahh yes.. don't get me started on the weather..

I have to wonder how someone who works for the government
can get away with being paid so much for being wrong so often..
of course they "work" for the government.. try doing that in
the private sector and keeping your job...
3 time this week i've thought.. might go out early in the morning for a few hours only to see
the forcast for storms manifesting overnight...
needless to say, woke up to blue skies with a bright sun in them.
bastards.. that's all I can say..

There have been thunderstorms offshore the last two days. Just because you can't see it, it doesn't mean to not happening :-)

your right
was just saying exactly what you said to my mate today , they would have a better chance of picking the lotto numbers and getting them right "metrological studies" should be called the "study of predicting tomorrow's weather based on yesterdays weather"

Any decent easterly over 5
Any decent easterly over 5 fathom always makes it lumpy. Head out and if it's too uncomfortable head back into the sound.

Yeah that's how it seems to
Yeah that's how it seems to work for my mates (the ones with the boats) no longer is it planned based on a forecast so to speak. Wake up in the morning and see if there is any relevance with that seabreeze or other forecasts show and take it from there.
I disagree.

might be better
you might be better launching at the bent street boat ramp and heading out behind the sisters for some jumbo sand whiting (you need be in 20m+ to get them )and if it gets messy its not that far home check out seabreeze.com they some times get the weather prediction's right
