they look to be working pretty well over east , fished on the bottom like a driftbait rig. quite interesting.

Been thinking about trying
Been thinking about trying this on some of my own designs. At the abrolhos, was using my mulie pattern (on a flyrod) and got a fair few hits. When the weather was crap I justed used them with a ball sinker. Forget if I landed any but certainly got a fair few bites (long fly and hook only at the head didn't help.
