Please help me hook up!

 And I'm talking about the fish, not ladies :)

Ok - so me and a mate are going to head out Friday night for a pretty big session of fishing. We both have rods that will handle sharks so we want to float a balloon out each and try and hook onto a shark if possible.

While we are waiting for that ever elusive bight we want to throw out some mulies for tailor or hit the bottom for some skippy (Pinkies would be nice but I know how difficult they are to get land based).

So my questions are;

1. What is the best bait for sharks? I am thinking whole mullet or any live bait that we might catch?

2. Does Woodman Point or ASI fish well these days? and is it safe to leave your car there?!

3. How about Mindarie Marina? Haven't heard of anyone catching sharks from there but you never know.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan

 burley up like a mad dog somewhere and cast a dirty big running ledger rig off a fibre glass (wont break) 12-13" rod if the balloons are no go at least that way u might get some stingray action if not the shark sounds like a good night to me
