Try searching 'exmouth
Try searching 'exmouth landbased' or similar (just to the left there under terms and conditions), should give you an idea of what fish your likely to encounter. Theres generally small-medium trevally and queenfish, small mackeral, chance of a spangled emperor and a few others which i think ur rod would be fine for. Theres also a few other things in and around the marina, usually smallish from what i've seen so again your rod would be fine.
I think theres some larger trevally near the navy jetty (check the exclusion zones regarding this) that might test your gear. I suggest getting a good amount of metals- id get a couple halco twisties and half a dozen cheapeis if i were u. Also a couple Halco Roosta poppers, and maybe some soft plastics. Any 5inch fish style thing should work.
Can catch some decent sharks at night if you put a big bait out, going by a couple posts ive seen. Theres also bread and butter stuff on the east side. I've only been there once and didn't do too well so keep searching!
