Nothing going on at the
Nothing going on at the Canning Bridge tonight. Some old lady cleaning up on grunter and a few blowies for myself. I was only using river prawns though, might have better luck on mussels or crabs.
I managed to catch a 25g raider slice off the bottom though!

I've heard the best bait at canning bridge by a country mile is a live hardyhead, caught on the smallest bait chaser you can get, about size 10.
anything under 10cm is good, you'll be surprised what sized baits bream will smash, yet to try this technique out, but on story includes
someone spewing after dropping a 40+cm bream and moments later while not paying much attention another bream ate the head 47cm it was

at night with prawn nets they easy to catch, use the current to push them in, dont go to them. not as good as live bait but better than mulies
If you can't fish, then drink, if you can't drink then why live??
