Bream & tailor are the best

Bream & tailor are the best targets at this time of year. Bream anywhere there's structure & tailor anywhere there's baitfish. If you see flocks of seagulls on the water it's well worth throwing a few lures towards them or floating a whitebait or half mulie under a float for tailor. Whiting could be a legit target but personally I think you'd be better off down near the old traffic bridge if you wanted to target them specifically. Flounder & flathead are possibilities but with the rains & cold weather are pretty shut down & would be more of an incedental catch rather than a legit target. Cobbler are likely but they are protected & all must be released. Mulloway are possible but most of them have left the river weeks ago & you would have to be very lucky to get one. It's always worth a try though & it never hurts to have a heavier outfit in a holder while you fish a light outfit in hand.

Tammie, 10 x 30-40+cm bream. That's an exceptional session of some exceptional fish. How about photos? There would definitely be photos of fish like that.
