Saw one up there years ago (Only a small one ) while scuba diving the wreck there. Perfect place for them to cruise on the strong currents.

Not the only one there
I was up there a few weeks ago and was talking to some of the divers coming back in from the Wale Shark dives at Tandabidi.
Several reported seeing Tigers in the water whilst on the dive.

Yeah a few weeks ago we were
Yeah a few weeks ago we were anchored just on the back edge of the reef off tantas. Anchor was in 8m of water but with a long rope out we were in more like 5, right close to the reef.
Burlying up a few fish (and a whaler), my mate threw the whaler head over the side, and a tiger that seriously didnt look much smaller than my 5.5m boat came half out of the water for it. Hung around, and another smaller one (still at least 8ft) came up and nailed a snapper that we released.
All of this was in daylight, just out from the boat ramp where people free dive etc.
I'm surprised more people doing the whaleshark dive dont see them!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
