Boat and Land base Fishing in Esperance

Guys,

Recently joined fishwrecked, and have picked up some useful info already. I am heading down to Esperance in the first week of December for 8 days with a 24ft boat. Asking for info / suggestions on where to go (not asking for GPS points!) just general areas, as local knowledge or people that have fished there before is always good to know. What fish should we chase at that time of year? If it is too windy - where to go for land based / 4wd fishing?

Any info would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers,

Newy

G'day Newy, Plenty of islands

G'day Newy,

Plenty of islands and ground out from Esperance, pick a direction and have a sound around. Bear in mind it will be getting a bit hotter and windier, so get out real early in the boat to try and beat the seabreeze before it comes roaring in around lunchtime. Have a yarn with Murray and Paul at the Southern sports and Tackle shop next to Woolies in the boulevard. In the boat you should expect Queenies, sambos, nannies, pinkies, BA, Harlies etc.

Do a search on here, I've put plenty of LB spots on here in the past to try in the 4wd.
