heading out of mindarie, have had my eyes on some good dhu sitting on some of my favorite lumps for a few weeks now!!! cant wait!!! then a bit of mackie trolling after that. cheers
Unfortunately that damn work thing is getting in the way of a good fish. Saturday on the other hand, I'll be joining the queues of thousands at the boat ramp.
I think Mindarie Saturday will be a battle ground of boats and trailers every where as there are only 4 slipways in total and a small area to line up in the queu to retrieve.
that in it self will be a sight to see or a headache to be part off.
Friday: SE winds 13/18 knots easing to SE/SW 8/13 knots late morning. Winds becoming S/SW 15/20 knots during the afternoon. Seas to 1.5m. Swell to 1.5m. Saturday: S/SE winds 10/15 knots easing to SE/NE 8/13 knots late morning. Winds tending S/SW 15/20 knots during the afternoon.

keep in mind
You need to wait for Feb 1st 2012 for a pinky fish in the Sound as the Pink Snapper/Sound closure is still active.
When the demersal band is lifted/soon you can fish for pinks outside the Sound, they're out there.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Do i need to get there early to secure a parking?
