Deals

DEC made these deals with any company operating on certain islands off the WA coast. It's good to see the islands conservation is being thought of. Political made be to announce it now. Hope that the general public will still be able to use the island for recreational purposes, not to lock it away.

Biosecurity Plan for Dirk Hartog

Tue, 2012-12-04 12:16

I was able to have a read of the Biosecurity Plan for Dirk Hartog (July 2012) to provide a brief to my boss with regard to impact it will have upon the way the company does business. Probably the easiest way to break it down - think of Barrow Island and it's requirements.....

There is also suggestion of shutting access down to one point only for both vessels and air craft. For a 68 page document, it wasn't too bad a read.
