Hey Guys
I was having a browse through the search section to see what type of lures everyone takes to quobba and found the s-spoons from S/Africa mentioned looked around and can't find them!! Can anyone help me out as who sells them or what I'm even looking for as have no idea what they even look like!!
Thanks in advance

spoons
u will need to import them http://www.kingfisher.co.za/showprod.php?prod_id=1431&cat_id= or try the sea iron range available in Perth, i know the fishing shop sells them not sure if they got stock. imo these lures are a class above the likes of raider lures , which do very little in the water - yes they catch fish when the fish are wild , but thats about it there is very little action on them. The s - spoon u can see flashing/fluttering away - attracting the fish .

S-Bend
Agree with RAGBAG, the S-Bend will beat a Raider hands down due to the movement you get from it's unique shape. Try and get hold of the chromed or nickle coated ones.

Agree with both Kwazulu and
Agree with both Kwazulu and RAGBAG - I have both - the nickle / chromeplated, both sides, and the S Bend with one side nickle and the other copper, imo, action and flashing way above the rest. (I have a spare - brand new shiny - chrome plated both sides 4oz if you are willing to drive up to mindarie to come fetch it - your call, no charge.)

Try Whiteys tackle. got a few
Try Whiteys tackle. got a few off him a while back for that exact reason. They are good. Agree with all the comments above- cant beat raiders for price and a flat out retreive, but s spoons are v good on a slow retreive, good action if you rig them back to front with the fat end last. got lots hits in drop/ slow retrieve/ drop mode.

Retrieve
Slow to medium retrieve is best, don't wind them too fast or they will not work as they should and make sure that you use a good swivel up above the lure or you will get line twist. Good luck.

leadheads
Dont forget the white leadhead jigs mate- have caught good spaniards, broadbar, cobia on flat out retreives with the bubble trail.
Cheap and they work from the stones.
