Can anyone remember the pyramid shaped plastic pots, what they're called and where to ge them?
They look the goods with the big base and they won't knock the crap out of your boat.

Getaway had them in Geraldton, so maybe they have them near you? (not sure where you are?)

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.

katipo
oceanside have them (marone/purple ones)
I was there yesterday and they had a few in stock out the front. I bought some a few weeks ago and will be putting them in this weekend while I am at rotto.
If your talking about those green ones, well from all reports they arent too successful because they have too much surface area and move around alot with swell etc

Not Katipo
There were some other ones i seen that were a pyramid shape so the base was the largest size not like the Katipo shape.
Was that the ones that move around too much?
They just looked like they will be really stable.

Havent personally used them but they dont seem to be for sale anywhere and maybe for a reason, hasnt got enough water flow through it in my opinion so will move around. Put a heap of weight in it but then you might as well use jarrah

Cray Pots
Yes those ones are from Fin Kayaks, we dont stock them but can supply them.
We have been getting asked for the Kaitipo ones for many years and now stock them. They are stable on the bottom, sink quickly and minimal water resistence when being pulled up.
Our customers plus FW members have been getting crays in them also. PM us if you have any questions maximracer.
