old?
I think that may be a little old. Wasn't the jerry rebuilt just a few years ago?
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.

It's just north of the roundabout at the intersection of North Beach Rd & West Coast Drive.
Up from Trigg as Justin said and south of Hillary's.

They're talking about extending
They're talking about extending it out as per the pic.
Theres also mention of it on the abc saturday fishing blog http://blogs.abc.net.au/wa/2013/04/saturday-breakfast-fishing-report.html?site=perth&program=720_saturday_breakfast
"Rally to Rebuild North Beach Jetty:
A rally is to be held on Sunday April 28th in North Beach. The rally will assemble at the Mettam's Car park at 10.30am and will move to the North Beach Jetty. (Mettam’s car park is on West Coast Highway just to the south of Hamersley Street.)
Organisers estimate that the walk will take around 10 - 15 minutes to walk to the jetty site where they will gather and be addressed by key speakers including the local member Tony Krstevic, Dr Andrew Rowland from Recfishwest, David Boothman and Michael Burke.
Following cyclone damage the jetty was radically shortened and is currently not adequate for recreational junior or disabled anglers. There are not very many safe fishing, recreational platforms in the northern suburbs that are suitable for these anglers. One of the concerns of the organisers is that recreational anglers have lost in excess of 50 fishing platforms over the last twenty years. The North Beach Jetty is one of them. If it is rebuilt to replicate the original it will accommodate a lot more anglers of all ages and be a safe place to enjoy fishing.
Recfishwest will also be conducting a free fishing clinic on the beach adjacent to the jetty for kids at 11:15am. They also plan to have other events on the day."
Cheers
