Anyone used one of these rods?
I'm chasing a pe4 rod to suite overhead, something around 5'6" ish, with a jig weight ~ 200g
Any suggestions?

also in the market for a PE4 o/h rod
and was thinking of getting maybe a majorcraft alexander B54/6 to run with my talica 8..but sourcing one may not be easy.
alternatively as righteo mentioned saltist demon bloods are cheap atm and worth a look.
John what reel you going to be matching with the rod?

i have a jm sabregame spin
i have a jm sabregame spin and powerspell 450b both of which i love, really wanted to try something new but the jm's are nice and the 450 got its cherry popped yesterday and is a brutal stick, chances are i'll be in thailand and singapore some time soon so going to have a good look at the the xzoga and tm range and what eva else i can find (may even do something stupid and come back with a tube full of rods and blanks), was really surprised with how small the accurate bx400n i got for xmas is so think i'll be looking at the smaller side of pe 4 rods rather than a 3-6.

the 400n is about the same
the 400n is about the same size as a saltist 20ld but just from playing with it today its alot more reel (looks, feel, smoothness), i own a saltist 40ldhsh and plan on getting rid of it soon after feeling the accurate (ive only used it twice hooked 2 sambos and blown away by sharks but still didnt like the feel of it). as for shimano its about 2/3 the size of a trinidad 16n, spool width is almost identical but side plate size is a third less, im blown away by it and normally i would just go buy any old rod to match but im really keen on finding something perfect, sad thing is will more than likely be a month before i can test it out due to work....
