The correct name for this is Gold-spotted Sweetlips Plectorhinchus flavomaculatus.
Painted Sweetlips is a different species (and different genus) Diagramma labiosum. The young look similar to Gold-spotted Sweetlips, but the face has only rows of yellow spots, rather than the alternating rows of wavy blue and yellow lines. A Painted Sweetlips of that size would be very dull grey on the body and not so heavily spotted. Check out the pic in Fishwreckapedia.
