G'day everyone,

I'm a bit of a novice at tailor fishing.....considering people talk about catching them in reefy areas next to shore i was wondering if I was to throw some lures around the reefy areas between trigg and hillaries would i be in with a chance. Or would i have a better chance heading further North to Ocean Reef or Mindarie.

 Went to Rotto, so many setose and eggs. Nabbed 4 big males 

 Got a 2.1kg jumbo in 13m

Not many around on the 5 fathom bank.....mind you we were freediving

Didn get the chance to get out today and frothing to have a crack and judge for myself. Heard plenty of decimal reports so far, and no whites. most i heard of was a bag of 3.

Last few years the whites have always shown up a few weeks after the 15th. Not like the good old days when you could jump in on the 15th and come out 30 minutes later with a bag burtsing with 8 big whites, always avoid rotto for the first run too, place is always full of berried girls at the start of the season.

Bagged 5, cackers in shallow, berried out deep!
