Great Northern Hwy

If you take the Great Northern Hwy make sure you take a cut lunch and a water bag with you because you will be doing about an extra 600km
Suggest the North West Coastal Hwy and you can decide in whether You go via the Brand Hwy or the coastal route through Jurien, Leeman etc until they join up south of Dongara

 Depends what you want to

Depends what you want to catch.

my advice would be get a 7-8ft spinning rod with 4000 reel and get a heap of soft plastics, metal slices or poppers and try catch some spanglies, tribally or Queenie's. feel free to fish bait to, but I like avoiding it haha.

walk and cast, cover last of ground in places where you can legally fish. Have had success at jansz/hunters/jacobz beaches so give the, a whirl. Could try lakeside or pilgramunna in the cape range. Go to the tackle world and ask them too - local knowledge always helps. Bundegi is another place as is most of the gulf or the marina.

best thing is to just try it out and see how you go- its a magic place.. Wish I was going!!

they are there, but dont believe the hype. There are different breeds......
