Heading to Esperance next week with the missus and kids and was wondering where would be a good kid friendly place to fish where we could catch us some dinner.Also I really want to try catch a squid! Seen that the jetty is closed,is there anywhere else I might get one?

Used to be able to fish off
Used to be able to fish off the taylor st jetty. Still catch squid and cuttlefish off the back there. Burley with squid waste will draw in KG Whiting. Use fresh tentacles as bait. Herring is always faithful. Back in the day i used to back the ute all the way to the end of the jetty. Not sure if u can anymore but safe and comfortable either way with the kids.
