Diawa Seaborg Megatwin 100 - deep dropping Rods and line

Hi All,
Just gathering info on deep dropping etc. Have just ordered 2 x Diawa Seaborg Megatwin 1000 reels and require suitable rods and line for fishing 200-250m water, targeting Hapuka. Does anyone have experience with these reels and if so what size line would you recommend and which rods also. I see some opt for the purpose built Dendoh / Tanacom Bull rods, specifically TB 66XHF-DD 198cm rods with curved butt. Look foward to hearing your experiences and advise.
Cheers

I purchased a jigmaster
I purchased a jigmaster parabolic jigging Rod from Oceanside. Looks like a toothpick when you put an electric on it but it certainly does not have a problem in dealing with fish. I also picked up a cheapie 24 kg bent butt from the downrigger shop (second hand). The jigmaster is very powerful (37kg) and to be frank I found it harder on my back. The bent butt is a much softer action and to me it feels better in the hand and can be used with a lowset gimbal belt.
Both of these rods fitted with Daiwa Tanacom 1000 or Miya CX5 accounted for plenty of fish in deep water at Coral bay recently landing all different varieties including sharks up to 7' - I guess its just personal choice.

The Wilson Live Fibre Venom
The Wilson Live Fibre Venom pe5-10 OH jig rod is another choice. Much easier fishing with a oh jig rod. a Lot of people go with Jigmasters and the like.

A good cheap rod is the Fishing WA jigging rod PE 6-8. Have been using one for a while and it's been great.

i bought a sub $200 rod from a non site sponsor shop which works as well as my mates tanacom bull rod- not as fancy -works very well and it s light enough to use as a jigger if u wanted to
the bent butt for me is a gimmick if u gonna be holding the rod
i have used a daiwa monster mesh pe6-8 as well with good results but its back as my sambo jigging rod
i use saltiga braid -80lb its thinner than many others and works well- the thinner line has less drag -therefore runs at less of an angle
i use 100lb or even heavier leader
pm me for the name of the shop if u want
