Can you tie this?

Does ANYONE know how to tie a dropper loop with snelled hooks? I just can't figure it out!

Thanks

Ryan

Loops

They can pull through, a few more twists to the loop helps as does leaving a 1-2 cm tag between where you cut the loop and the dropper loop knot.

 tie your normal paternoster

tie your normal paternoster rig with loops but make them small loops then tie your snelled hooks on roughly 300 mm of line and tie a loop on the tag end of that then just join the two by joing the two loops....catspaw?

This makes sense in my head haha

Yeah that's the way I did it too...

,,,when I used to use bait. Strong as, caught double digit dhuies and sambos on it, never a drama. Just be sure that your leader for the snells is the same diameter/breaking strain as that of your dropper loop/main rig...if one is smaller than the other (catspaw) it can cut into it and PING goes your fish!

Thats also how I do mine as well. I believe its called a Larks head knot,a cats paw is when you make more loops through. You can make up a dozen rigs and then simply loop them on as required. Def use same size lines though or as Auslobster says "PING" !!
