Thugs robbing kids

My 12 year old caught the train with 3 of his mates at 0730 in to go bream fishing near optus stadium. About 0130pm a group of 6 teens in ski mask, some Asian some African appearance turned up and held them and robbed them of good rods and reels, tackle box's etc. They went further up to rob more kids. Boys were straight onto the police, police actually got some of them on the train and recovered some stuff..Police were kind enough to drop the kids home well NOR. Son is un harmed but doesn't want to try fishing the river with his mates again.

What a sad read
Now aged 75 and after selling my boat some years ago I considered shore-based drone fishing. I then considered the possible not so pleasant consequences. Sitting on a beach alone with drone / electric reel etc costing $2.5K plus, I thought to myself no, I'm a target to individuals or groups of cnts.

similar happened to a mate of mine a few years back walking home from the pub late at night. Confronted by a couple of indigenous lads who wanted to beat him up.
But my mate had his blue heeler with him that had wandered up in front of him, dog came back and tore shreds off the fckers.
