Been a while since anybody has posted simrad related posts.

so I've got a NSX 3012 early on in the year and went with a extra HD 3-1 transducer.it can't power the 'ducer so after finally talking to a navico rep at the boat show I've pre ordered a S3100h and it will power the transducer and also stop up and down on the screen from the boat bobbing around with heave compensation. 
hopefully 12 months will be able to score some decent demersals.

got the transducer mounted on a Barji marine fairing block.
