The estuary sucks you have to fish extremely hard for little reward... Unless salmon randomly head in there as they did on one occasion. You can catch tailor off dalyellup beach and herring and tailor off back beach rocks. Let me know If your keen for a fish and drop me your mobile number if your keen to get out on my kayak for a fish some time

Try the groin opposite

Try the groin opposite Casurina boat ramp at the end of town,or the beach near the groin both good for herring, tailor and the odd soapy. The estuary is starting to get better but mostly at night the mouth of the collie river sometimes has descent bream.there is plenty of yellowtail whiting in the outer harbour, the beach that runs from the Vat restaurant round to the boat ramp is easiest to fish try a bit of burley and they will show.If you can get out on trav32's yak the rock walls near the pilot boat tie up area and where the pro boats tie up is good also. The beaches are all a bit weedy at the moment but will clear up as summer starts there are a few gutters south of the surf club.Other beaches you could try after the weed clears would be Belvedere north of town Buffalo in the same area and to the south try Dallyelup beach and further south Forrest beach all produce fish on their day.PM me if you get stuck would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Cheers

Willo
