Yeagerup in August - worth it or leave it alone

G'Day All
I'm heading down to Yeagerup early August with a few mates for a bit of 4x4ing / camping / fishing / fishing / fishing and refreshments. We are all avid 4x4ers and won't have any trouble with that or the refreshments side of things but what about the fishing? I'm thinking a couple of big roads and tackle for the ever hopefull mulla or shark etc and a couple of lighter gear for herring and whiting.
Am I going to go to a lot of effort only to get there at the wrong time of the year????
cheers

It wouldn't hurt to soak a bait mate.
I've never tried & was hoping you'd get a response.
its a great place to be & heaps of top tracks to explore.
It will be bloody cold though.

Worth a go
hi mate, definately worth a go as this is when we normally do well on gummies and the chance of a mulloway! If not there normally is a good variety of small fish around. Just watch out for the washouts on the beach which can stop you from travelling too far either way. Good Luck
