do you mean line class or brand of line probably 20lb braid should do you fine as for braid tuffline and td sensor are some ok braids otherwise depends what you want to spend on braid
Get the best you can afford. I would probably be looking at around the 30lb mark, and personally I don't like fins (not a dig at nightfish). It's like rope, coarse, heavy and large diameter for its breaking strain. The daiwa tournament braid is alright, the daiwa accudepth is better again. However, the last line I purchased was jigman pe 5, which was around $300 for 600m, enough to fill both my 10k saragosas. It is by far the best quality line I've had my mitts on.
You will be surprised the difference a good quality braid will make. So much smoother which equals less tangles, easier to tie knots and I believe a better feel through the rod as well. So yeah just get the best you can afford mate.
For your budget 20LB Power Pro or Finns or Tough Line. Don't go heavier than 20 Lb , you should never really go heavier than the line class on your rod. Avoid Fireline like the plague, it gets the fuzzies/birds nest way too easily since it is not actually braid but fused line.
Hi mate if you want good quality braid then the Sunline Super PE 30lb comes in a 300m spool. Its smooth and round and does well for both bottom fishing and casting. Japanese made and is used by all of us instore. We can do a spool of that $70.

Thanks, was after both class and suggested brands. Want to keep costs <$100 on line, but also want reliability.

Fins 30 pd 300m with a bit of backing
And upgrade the drag washers to carbontex, won't regret it. Use the same reel myself and I love it!

On a 8000...
Whack on some 30lb fireline braid without doubt. A reel that size and quality could probably easy take in 50lb spectra too
