This is my first post so hello and thanks to all for the info I have already got.I will be heading to shark bay in July and after reading some posts heard reports of spaniards being caught In eastern gulf.I was just wondering weather they are seasonal or caught all year round.Any info would be appreciated.

I have caught
macks off cape peron but earlier in the year MAR/APR, we mainly fish off turtle bay, dampier reef but its a long haul for kids especially if the weather turns.I have caught them at anchor while fishing for snapper ,lots of berley but it also brings in the noahs.

troll the chanels between the
troll the chanels between the seagrass (its like a highway for fish) they can be seen on your gps or map and are about 8-10m deep from memory.
also using any sort of teaser improves catch rate.
i have also heard sanmar/garfish baits used up at point peron peninsula works well, never tried it though.
