What's biting at point Walter at the moment, I'm going there for a family get together and was wondering if there is any flathead/ tailor around to target.
ps. It will be purely catch and release.
cheers,

went for a flick there
went for a flick there yesterday arvo just for an hour or so, between the boat launching sites. Nothing but one little whiting and heaps of blowies, and most casts got stringy green seawead on the lure. Had a look out on the jetty, heaps of people out there, might be hard to get a spot. Also heaps of what i think were scalies, busting around the end of the jetty. Might be a chance of mulla?

Went last week
Got the smallest tailors on my 10 gm slice, some would have been around 5 cms. Some lady was catching bream half way up along the jetty not sure about the size though. Saw a cracker whiting landed on bait on the right hand side. Heaps of blowies there, I used up a whole pack of zman grubs before I switched to the slice. Got one small flatty that day on plastics.
