There is a petition going around on Facebook to protect the Kimberley by implementing more no take zones that a friend of mine shared, I read through all the info and at the end it shows it is sponsored by PEW.  I put up a post about their previous antics which has been deleted from the wall, also a link to http://www.westernangler.com.au/articles/editorials/695 discussing the supposed benefits of no take zones on the GBR and a peer reviewed scientific paper www.esajournals.org/doi/abs/10.1890/14-1427.1 showing that Large-scale expansion of no-take closures within the Great Barrier Reef has not enhanced fishery production.
