Never casted a spinning reel before so hard to say....
Can easily get over 100+m with a 40gm metal with a 10' sensor surf and 4000 aird (20lb finns).
Never taken it to the park to measure, but often during salmon season if the schools are out far I'm outcasting most other peeps on the beach (except MattMiller who's a sensor surf user also) <-- but we're on par if im not using a waxwing :)

Yep I usually cast lures and
Yep I usually cast lures and sometimes bait. Seriously though try one of the new Halco outcasts, I been casting a 40g one on 10lb braid with a 7 foot 6 rod (Team Daiwa X) and ABU Revo PRM 40 and it goes a loooong way.

Unless anyone has actually
Unless anyone has actually cast on a correctly marked out surface on the land(eg a casting competition) all quoted distance are to be taken with a grain of salt I reckon. I thought I used to be easily able to cast X amount of distance. Until I went in a casting comp and realised just how far I was really casting.
Most normal fisherman even with big rods, long cast reels and braid would struggle to get over 100-120m. Especially if using anything other than just a sinker. Using baits and lures will vastly decrease your casting distance.
Out of interest why are wanting to know? Do you want to see how your casting compares or are you looking to try and improve your casting distances? Are you interested in getting into competitive casting?
Because if you are you have some of the worlds best at casting living right here in WA. Check these guys out and you will be learning from the Pro's. I know, a couple of the past members taught me at casting clinics and I can cast a hell of a lot better and further because of them :)

Agree
Like many of us 100 meters is a lot further than we cast. I remember an old joke.... Why do women have so much trouble reversing, it's because men keep telling them this is how far eight inches is. :)

casting a richter plug with
casting a richter plug with my Azusa 862 / SOL2 300H loaded with 30lb hyper tournament and a slight easterly behind I get 112 turns on the reel to retrieve it. Works out to be about 95-100 mtrs taking into account the slack line.

The length of baldivis oval.
The length of baldivis oval. I had to stop casting there as I was going from 1 side to the other quite easily. Well not so easy. On google maps it tells me its 120m from 1 side to the other. Is on Poseidon 13ft and Penn Fathom with 8 ounce lead.

Usually about 5-10m short of wherever I want to be casting ;) haha
But seriously, I would have a bit of a chuckle if I rocked up to an oval for a kick of the footy and there's some bloke casting from 1 end to the other! Half a chance at jagging a nice sized dog turd!

Bunbury old Cut
Used to cast out past the tip of the north side groyne from off the south side when there was salmon schooling there and hope to hell if you hooked one it didn't run round the other side cutting you off on the rocks.

Pretty open question that one
Pretty open question that one & I don't think there's really an accurate response. Gear, conditions, rig used, casting with/without baits etc, there's just too many variables.
Just because I smile & nod does not mean I believe the crap coming out of your mouth.
