Good Old Days

I wanted to put this pic up in another thread but I couldn't so here it is. My PB Redfin of 5.25lb (after being gutted). I have also put in my PB Tench of 4lb. Sorry about the pic quality, these are scans of the original photos & they are quite old. Wish I could still go out & catch Redfin that size these days.

That's a HD ute Sea-Ken. I learnt to drive in that thing. 186 with three on the tree. Was a great old thing.
I used to catch Reddies around the 2kg mark quite a bit back then Lurcha. Not so easy these days unfortunately.

mate. my first memorable fish
mate. my first memorable fish was a tench , caught from a pond, on a pole, in pommy land , with my dad. i would have been about 5 or 6 i guess.
got to love the old pics and memories
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Picked up a fair few that size in the backwoods between dwellingup and boddington. Few trout up that way too.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
