the 1 minute extreme tackle range run down isnt the end of the world as they are just shown their range and gear they use. if ur talkin about plugin shit the Ifish show shits me..... the plug crap is half a show at the least and he still doesnt explain about what he is doin
lookin forward to next sunday

Most shows, sport teams, and
Most shows, sport teams, and competitors etc wouldnt exist without sponsorship. Get a DVR and record all your shows, watch em when u want and just fast forward the shit and ads derrr...

Fishing WA New TV series!
The main thing I get asked in my shop and when I'm on the road filming is "show me the gear your using" and 'more information" .......... so that's what we're doing
That said, you need to show them and explain what your using and a one minute gear used plug isnt going to cut into quality footage!!!!!
Shabba as for that show and plug minutes dont go there, FWA has a 1 min Extreme plug, 19 minutes fishing footage to "explain" and show fish/techniques etc and the rest are TV ad's so our balance is good compared to others
Dowders, a good call and something we have already addressed as the harsh vertical sunlight was giving us grief and we have things in place to fix that and that was also addressed in the coming episodes but more so the new series to film!!
Some of the stuff coming up in this new series is specky so enjoy!!!

Channel!!
Channel 7 and GWN, it will go to Foxtel after the series finishes ie late April/May 2013 and they run it for several years as their ratings are high with Fishing WA

Good stuff
No complaints from me! Honestly, the fact is we're lucky to have an awesome homegrown fishing show (not to mention we have ''the water'' as well). 1 min of product placement is sweet FA compared to IFISH.. I'm a bit of a tackle rat so tackle talk isn't all bad to me.. Keep up the good work

Love the show Ryan, I record
Love the show Ryan, I record the series whislt away at work and sit down for a marathon with my wife (yes my wife loves it too) and the kids. I grew up in the north-west and love your episodes around the mackarel islands. Im stuck on Barrow Island right now, the calm days are the most torturous up here. Tight lines. Keep up the good work champ!!

Any chance of Harry hooking up with Australia Network so that it goes to all Australians overseas. Including me.......

Spewin I missed it yesterday.
Spewin I missed it yesterday. Loved the first episode last week. I was up there the other week Hambo for three days and it glassed off every day, was pulling my hair out thinking about the beasts out just waiting for a trolled lure.
Love the West!

Love the WA only context compared with other shows
Just so much you can bear watcking YTK and large flatties shown.
Also not sucking up Ryan but the mix you have in presenters is Sooo much better than previous. Poor Nic Hocking was made to look like a fool with that knob jacko, and why he wasnt thrown into the drink by Tucks and Black jack (Hairy dog probably would have) on a few shows I have no idea.
Might have to get the series after 8 and look at them all again.

Good episode and well
Good episode and well presented. What I look for in a fishing show is something that I can do that is somewhat simple but still catches fish- which is what I saw on the show. Agree Jacko was not my type, but i did like Steve Corriea in the earlier episodes.

Unfortunately I missed the show this week.... grr, was out trying the real thing, bloody weed :(
I do really like the fact that the episodes are on the FishingWA website...... Which I should add is looking good and no "intrusion attacks" detected anymore :) I've just got to wait for yesterdays episode to be uploaded
I did read the comment about the lighting and noticed the same thing in last weeks episode, the shadows were a bit harsh at times, and whilst I think about it - Ryan was there something wrong with your mic ?, you just sounded a bit faint and very tinny at times. But love the show, being waiting eagerly waiting for the new season.

thanks!
Firegaurd,
The lighting contrast with several of the early shows aired was due to vertical light, back lighten, angled light and the boat hardtop being some of the issues when filming!
Not the best in certain areas but we are dealing with filming a boating doco so the elememts & boat infrastructure can push us. That said Channel 7 have black levels that we adhere to and they accept for commercial TV veiwing!
That said we have addressed areas that we can minimize these issues and you'll see a change in the following eps!
Ryan was there something wrong with your mic ?,
Yes, that mic wasnt the best but replaced with a new mic which again you'll see a difference in following eps to come!
Edited;
The next show is " Landbase Sambo's " at Bremer Bay which we havnt filmed before!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing you back on the new fishing WA Ryan.
Someone should have put a straight hook into Jacko... I stopped watching the show when Nic, Lisa and Jacko were all over it.

I met Nick and Jacko in exxy
I met Nick and Jacko in exxy few years back, top blokes. Love the sharky release in ep 2 ;), prob wouldav swam off eventually. I rate seeing released fish swim off proper on shows highly. I hate just seein the fish speared in then camera turns away and the fisho sez, yep, swam off strongly. The worst I seein was ifish, paul speared a mulla back after bringin it up from some depth (cant remember) and you saw it pop up belly up out the back of the boat

Just good having you back on
Just good having you back on there Ryan, seems as if you can relate everything to the regular fisherman. You make it easier to understand by taking the time to show rigs, presentation and ground. Great work and good on ya for presenting again

love the show!
I really thought nicko was a good presenter, yet not enough info was given about how to fish, like retrieves, what too look for such as tides, swell, wind etc this is the most helpfull info as you can have all the tackle, but fish the wrong conditions, u wont catch much. ohh one other thing, would really love to see some fresh water action!
