Fisheries GW Shark Tagging

I've heard of these accoustic stations just interested in learning more about them etc ...obviously when a shark swims past it goes off but if it swims back and forth all day the tech can't discriminate it as 1 or 10 different sharks ...satellite tracking of  individual sharks would be the ideal , which would have be good in determining shark or sharks responsible for attacks...however 70 odd Gw's have been tagged apparently ...I presume they will get some more whilst they're in the sound ...be great if fisheries could release a app whereas concerned persons could download and be immediately kept in the loop when a shark is in a particular area...
