With all the latest round of sounder pics, has any one upgraded to
the furuno 627, are they worth it? Has any one got any pics of it in
action only seen the screen shots on the website

Yep, I love mine.
I've only used it a couple of times, all on the auto factory settings + fish symbles and length.
I have found a heap more fish and leaves my lowrance DSI unit for dead. I imagine once I start taking it out of auto and tweaking it it will be awesome.
Only been to about 20m so far. It has definately put alot more fish into the boat.
