Exmouth Fishing Charter

 G'day,

A few mates and I are thinking of doing a 3 day trip up to Exmouth (flying up from Perth). We will be heading up in mid february which I know is Cyclone season :(.
We want to do as much fishing as possible and are thinking of getting some tix on a fishing charter.

Could anyone recommend a decent charter? I've seen mixed reviews all over the net mostly bad :(.

Thanks!

+1 for on strike, great skipper, good fishing, I can vouch for a good time. we caught heaps, we did the sport fishing one where its lure fishing, no bait, we cast soft plasticsa at mantas for cobia, poppered for queenies. soft plasitcs for bottom species awell, cast at tuna. you can also do the game fishing which is trolling for marlin, mackies ect.
good price for group bookings. Skipper knows his stuff, been fishing in Exmouth for years.

Obriens???

Do they have the old yellow fibreglass ex-cray boat?

If so, we had a great day with them about 7 years ago. Fishing wise it was great...but the skipper and crew (if you could call him that) hadnt really read the book on making good first impressions. Funny day all things being equal. Would I recommend them...not really sure. We were put on the fish, and came home safely.

I did see Onstrike's website. They look rather fancy haha a bit nervous to check out the prices which I ironicly noticed they didnt put on their site.
Blue Horizon is looking the way to go. I have heard a few stories about Obriens, Duly Noted :)

Good guys, but also work offshore so aren't always available for charters.
