Marron in the Canning

 Anyone know/heard of if you can catch marron in the Canning and if so how far up?

The Canning is not listed as closed water, nor is it listed in the Trophy, Snare only or Marron Waters.  I was never sure if they had to be mentioned....

Ive nabbed a big bugger on the salt water side of Kent st weir as a kid (cant remember time of year). Seen smaller jobs on the fresh side. Mind you this was 18+ years ago. Crap im feeling old about now...
