With all the fish you wish to keep

Sounding around looking for ground

All of a sudden you had to turn around

As on the bottom you see a peak

Holding all the fish you wish to keep

You set up a drift and watch your line go down

Hoping you have found that magical ground

A solid bite and the fight was on as if on cue

It gets even harder a short time on just as you knew

You struggle then curse as the line goes slack

Ending you up flat on you back

Bringing up your line with a sour look and a fractured spine

All there was is an empty hook and some missing line
