i am driving up there
i am driving up there tomorrow as well.
Deeper water is better, recent years sharks have plagued any shallower water demersal fishing, altho trout can be had but you need to be quick past the sharks.
Usual rule of thumb with demersal bait fishing up there, big bait = big fish. Bigger bait = bigger fish. Fresh bait is best so catch it on your way out.
What size boat you taking?
Good news is weather is looking pretty dam good Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
