Yeah don't think that one is real accurate myself either. My understanding is that there was 15-20 ocean drowning deaths in those years. I dunno how many other drowning there were but I don't see it being 270 people.

Just did a bit of researc & now it makes sense. That is the number of incidents of drowning in those years. Not the number of fatal drownings (about 40 fatal). In other words there were 250+ people saved from drowning in those two years.

I drown every Friday night Rob and it takes me usually 3 or 4 days to come back to life again..... it's a miracle lol

I'm guessing the stats on most of those are full of shit, just like the drowning deaths in WA one 2012/2013. 75 as per Royal Life Saving National Drowning Report 2012 and 2013 reports.
Sorry its just one of those things which really gives me the shits when people quote stuff that is incorrect.

Divide the number of shark attacks amoungst the number of people who actually get in the water in SW WA and you will get some very different probabilities..

There's no statistics attached to the cow picture so not sure what stats you are referring to. It is a fact though that more people die from cows (trampled etc) each year than die from shark attack.
Here's a fact about goats: the billy goat (male), pisses all over himself regularly. He does this because the scent is attractive to female goats.
