D9 snapper

Hey guys,
going for a night fish on Friday in and around Cockburn Sound; does anyone know if the D9 is still holding snapper or is it a little late in the season ie have they moved out deeper/ into open water?
I usually fish the 5 Fathom but its good to have options closer to shore at night especially if the weather picks up unexpectedly.
cheers

Always worth a shot in the Sound as the snapper are there year round. Sound around likey spots and try to locate a school or some broken ground. Then drop the pick and get a steady berley trail going. Good bycatch of gummy sharks always a chance :)

Cheers Kinga,
wasnt sure if the sound held snapper all year round, but might head to the D9 and the bank alongside it and have a look around; I use those tactics out at the 5 fathom and they are definitely tried and tested ;)
