broome fishing

Hi, me and the mrs are heading to broome 7th to 10th jan and me being me i can go three days in broome without having to go for a fish. Im just wondering if anyone could recommend a charter/tour where me and the mrs could get out and catch some fish creek or ocean not fussed just dont wanna have to extent the morgage for it tho if you know what i mean. Any help will be much appreciated.

Absolute Ocean Charters have
Absolute Ocean Charters have closed till March but Jeda at Makaira gamefishing (best charter in Broome IMO) may be doing his Barra tours around now. I think he was waiting on his new boat but may be borrowing one till it arrives.
West Kimberely fishing tours is running during the wet but I haven't been on that charter so can't say what it is like.

Barra
Pretty much Barra tours are all you will get this time of the year Jedda runs a bloody good show during the cooler months chasing bill fish and knows his stuff so if he's doing Barraadict tours now he would be a good bet also Slims Barra tours are worth a look Slim has been fishing the local waters around Broome and the Fitzroy for years with great success also Kirt Williamson from Barra Addict is a Kimberley legend when it comes to catching Barra .

Cheers for the help, I've now got a bit more info to go off. Ive fished with kirt from barra addict whilst staying at eco beach in the past and his a top bloke, but il search the other guys up and hopefully be able to get amongst it. Cheers
