I am keeping my eye on it, bit worried about the swell and strong winds the night before. Might be a gentlemans hour voyage.
Last time I was out 2 weeks ago there were HEAPS of bait balls between murray reefs and FFB. I trolled with the hope of tuna but had no luck. So I'm going to give that another shot and then poke out if the swell and wind continues to look good in the afternoon as forecast.
Planning on getting the kids sat and taking the Mrs and my sister out for a fish during gentleman's hours. Hoping there's some nice snapper hanging around the 30's off Hillarys after the big swells and blow yesterday
pinkies are on the agenda again , last few trips have seen some good ones onboard and im keen to try this jack stein ceviche recipe with a fresh pinkie or dhu
I'll be heading out but not until after lunch. If outside the reefs is doable after the Friday blow then I'll be trying for another Tuna for bait and set up for pinkies later on.
I traded my Saturday free pass for a Sunday one. Hope that ditty northerly stays away until the afternoon. Had to be home by 1pm anyway to make it to the pub to watch the Lions vs All Blacks final. Early start on Sunday should also help encourage a return home from the pub at a reasonable time
