I took someone out today. Who taught me a heap about pink fishing over the years . If only I could count. Better being under than over. Great fun . Can’t beat it in my books.

White jigs
Swear by them . If unsure how to use duos. Go the white exile jigs 2.5 to 3.5 size .complete angler rocko still stock them. Another thing to go for patchy ground lots of sand patches.and always fish outer side of patchy ground (deeper stuff .outside edge of area ) they love it . Sometimes weed patch may only be size of a car. You may be very surprised what you get. I never fish light . 30 to 40 lb braid.( I don’t like loosing jigs) fg Knott with 30 to 40 lb shock leader. Doesn’t put them off off at all. Don’t fish solid weed ( crap) patchy stuff . My theory( May be wrong) prawns target same areas. I hope this helps you. Jig choise and colour a must .white . White and white. Just my opinion . I don’t believe dark days use dark jigs. Light days use light coloured jigs. I may be wrong in what I think, but it works. Remember 1 thing ( jigs catch more fisherman than squid) it’s personal choise. What you feel confident in. Hope this helped you in some way.
