Usually a sliver of tuna or mackie Brad. If you get a few hits but don't hook up just crank it up fast to hopefully entice a passing spaniard etc.

Never said I was a purist mate, but its a deadly technique for targeting both demersals and pelagics at the same time.
Doesn't hurt the pocket as much when you get drilled into the coral either.

have you caught any of those long nosed thugs up there like we did in exmouth.excellent catch,it must be a huge list that have been caught on jigs now,we will add a few more next week. Timbos going weak at the knees
