hey, they all werent from the one spot, we found about 4 spots which produced from 38m to 90m , and theres plenty more spots out there as well, just have to find them.Ill probley do another fish out that way but will leave them spots alone and spend alot more time looking for flat coral ,or shell.
Big kill shots, your in the poo. Doesn't bother me none. Good variety of fish mate.Well done.No doubt someone will see this post and start commenting about it re;big kill shots.I'll have the black ass,kg and a shark thanks! MAXY
We have found that by cutting just behind head the works the best and when you get home cut a part off the tip of the tail exposing the spine cavity. Then get your garden hose and place over the spinal cavity at the head end and squirt water throught it, this gets rid of all the blood that is left in the sharks system.
Hope this helps!
Its a lot easier to take photos on land than at sea and the photo my mates took of the fish didnt come out or got erased so thats why i stuck that up there. There was 4 anglers on board so it wasnt such a big kill day.
With sharks i just slit there throat and cut the tail off then, clean the guts out of them ,then put them in the kill tank. But because some of the crew were on the VB's they went a little overboard (understatement),They hacked it up to help get the ammoia out of it they recon.
alright Kal, the fish on the bottom of the pic is what, I am having a hard time identifying it, obviously its been out of the water for while, my first thoughts were a piggy but looks more from the north to me now

I thought that the fins were made up of a small amount of flesh but mostly cartilage and the ammonia smell had a lot to do with the sharks liver?
