All the best for the future fishing trips.

By the way, the ramp is complete. It was officially opened on Sunday 7th of October. I can still see it being a nightmare during peak season!!!

All tides

All tides and ramps etc etc. Except they didn't build a walkway on the seaward side of the launch/retrieve lane. Which makes it really drive on/drive off only. For the experienced skipper it will be great. For the muppets that get caught in the wind and the tide it will spell disaster when their gin palaces float into the next lane and smash into others boats. There will be tourist dive boats loading up on one side, clogging everything. There will be a line of recs wanting to retrieve and some wanting to launch. Then there will be landbasers parking in the no go areas in the small round about.

As far as I can see it, its going to be ramp rage central!!

There is also the issue of the sand build up at Monck head. Will be interesting to see how that affects the nearby reef. The one good thing so far is that its a great landbased alternative when the winds blowing. Quite a few monster squid and queenies being landed down there at the moment.
